Dr. Alveda King acknowledged that MLK accepted an award from Planned Parenthood in 1966 but said it was only because the abortion group had a “hidden agenda” at the time.
Planned Parenthood no longer has a hidden agenda and Sen. Barack Obama recently pledged that when it comes to abortion rights he “will not yield and Planned Parenthood will not yield.”
The Democratic party as a whole has done a significant job of painting itself as the party for African Americans when in reality it exploits them.
