Obama talks of plans to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act that protects some states from having to recognize gay marriage.
He was asked by the interviewer if he was referring to the Defense of Marriage Act, which seeks to protect the sanctity of marriage and ensures protection of a individual state's right not to recognize gay marriages performed in other states.
