Obama's Imaginary Heroes

Obama was really on a roll during his Memorial Day speech in New Mexico.

First he addressed the "fallen heroes"- including those that he saw in the audience.

"On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes and I see many of them in the audience here today – our sense of patriotism is particularly strong."

Never fear-Obama's spin doctors came to his rescue. When posting a transcript of the speech, Obama's official campaign blogger conveniently skipped over Obama's ability to see dead people in the audience.

"On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes, our sense of patriotism is particularly strong," reads the campaign transcript.

See the story at Gateway Pundit.

However he didn't stop there.

"I had an uncle who was one of the, part of the first American troops to go into Auschwitz and liberate the concentration camps," Obama said in the speech.

The problem? The camp was not liberated by American troops. The death camp was liberated by Russian troops in 1945.

See the story at WorldNetDaily.

It appears that Obama has imaginary heroes every where. Where will they pop up next?

I posted on this today. It seems that dear Uncle Charlie wasn't even in the Army, he was in the Navy.
