Support for Barack Obama hit a low not seen since early June on Monday, but the Democrat is still ahead of John McCain in the latest daily presidential tracking poll from Rasmussen Reports.
In the latest poll, Obama is ahead of McCain by just one percentage point, 42% to 41%. That’s Obama’s lowest level of support since he clinched the Democratic party’s presidential nomination on June 3, the pollster reported.
